In the women’s race, Ethiopia’s Dire Tune narrowly beat Alevtina Biktimirova by just 2 seconds in the closest finish ever recorded in the history of the event.
2012 — Phil Humber pitched a perfect game, the first in almost two years in Major League Baseball. He led the Chicago White Sox to a 4-0 win against the Seattle Mariners.

2013 — Raphael Jacquelin from France won a nail-biting playoff at the Spanish Open, matching a record as he edged out Germany’s Maximilian Kieffer.
