White House gate crash
On Saturday night, a car smashed into the security gate around the White House. Sadly, the driver died in the crash, according to officials.
The police are only looking into the incident as a regular car crash, says the D.C. Police Department.
Anthony Gugliemi, who speaks for the Secret Service, stated that there are no dangers or worries about safety after the incident. The Secret Service gave out a first report with some simple information about the crash, and they’re looking into what happened.
On Saturday night, a car was going too fast and crashed into a gate outside the White House complex around 10:30 p.m. The Secret Service said this. When officers got there, they found a man in the car. They tried to help him, but he died at the scene. No one else got hurt.

The Secret Service assured that the White House was not at risk, they stated. The crash investigation will be managed by the Washington Metropolitan Police Department Crash Investigation Unit, while our own inquiry continues.
They haven’t found out who the driver was. President Biden was in Delaware over the weekend, not in Washington, D.C. when the crash occurred, according to the Associated Press.
