Ohio State graduation- During Ohio State University’s graduation ceremony on Sunday, someone fell from the stands and tragically died. It occurred around midday as the last graduates were entering Ohio Stadium, as reported by the Columbus Dispatch.
The police blocked off the area. They weren’t sure if the fall was on purpose or accidental, or if it was a student or someone else involved.
Benjamin Johnson, who speaks for the university, said in an email that they knew about the death but didn’t have any more details to share about what happened.
Some students and others at the ceremony were very sad. The graduation kept going, and the people talking didn’t talk about what happened.

The spokesperson said, “We’ll provide counseling and other support for those impacted by today’s incident,” as reported by weeklywakeup.
The university said that 12,555 students got their diploma or certificate in person, as reported by the station.
