Mumbai Hit-and-Run: Shiv Sena Leader’s Son Causes Fatal Crash
A tragic incident occurred in Mumbai on Sunday, July 7, 2024. A BMW car crashed into a bike, killing a woman. The car belonged to a Shiv Sena leader. His son was driving it.
The accident happened in Worli, Mumbai. It was early morning, around 5:30 AM. A couple was riding their scooter. Suddenly, a speeding BMW hit them. The impact was very strong.
The woman on the scooter died. Her name was Kaveri Nakhwa. She was 45 years old. Her husband, Pradip, was hurt but survived. They were going home from Sassoon Dock in Colaba.

The BMW didn’t stop after hitting them. It kept driving for about 100 meters. Kaveri’s body was on the car’s hood. Then the driver ran away from the scene.

The police think Rajesh Shah’s son, Mihir, was driving the car. Mihir is 24 years old. He ran away after the crash. The police are looking for him.

Karan Shah said Mihir only had a Red Bull drink. His friends each had one beer. They left the bar at 1:40 AM. Their bill was 18,730 rupees.
The police want to know if Mihir was drunk when he was driving. They will do tests when they find him. They also want to know how he got the BMW after leaving the bar in a Mercedes.
