Carl Pei’s disruptive tech brand, Nothing, is set to unveil its latest addition to the Phone family on March 5, 2024, at 5:00 PM IST. The company has shared a teaser titled “Fresh Eyes,” hinting at the launch of the Nothing Phone (2a).
This mid-range offering is poised to deliver a great performance and camera experience without breaking the bank. Unlike its predecessors, the Phone (1) and Phone (2), the Phone (2a) is designed for users who want top-notch features but don’t necessarily need top-of-the-line specs.

The upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) has demonstrated impressive performance with a benchmark score of 7,38,164 on AnTuTu 10. This score reflects the phone’s strength in CPU, GPU, UX, and RAM performance categories.
The device has been compared to the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ which has a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, while rumors suggest that the Nothing Phone (2a) and OnePlus Nord CE 3 will use the Snapdragon 782 5G chip. The Nothing Phone (2a) performs better than both smartphones in overall score.

According to tipster Aftab Ansari, the upcoming Nothing Phone 2a is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor. The phone may also come with Android 14-based NothingOS 2.5 and a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the Nothing Phone 2a may feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, as well as a 32-megapixel front sensor. The phone is rumored to support 45W wired fast charging. The Nothing Phone 2a may launch in black and white color options and in two configurations: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB.

The 8GB RAM variant is rumored to be priced at €349 (approximately 31,200 INR) and the 12GB RAM variant at €399 (approximately 35,600 INR). The phone’s microsite is already live on Flipkart, and it is expected to be sold on the platform after launch.
