Samsung will soon release new foldable phones, likely in July. These will include the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. There’s also talk about a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra coming later this year. A recent leak spills the beans on these upcoming models and some of their main features.
Z Fold 6 Ultra- Samsung foldable launching this year
- In 2024, Samsung is expected to release new phones called the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Fold Ultra, Z Flip 6, Z Fold FE, and Z Flip 6.
- The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra and Z Flip 6 phones are rumored to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The Fold 6 Ultra might also have S Pen support.
- The Z Flip 6 will offer a choice between using either the Qualcomm processor or the Exynos 2400 SoC.
- This might be the first time ever that a Foldable series is getting an Exynos chipset instead of the usual Snapdragon SoC.

- The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is rumored to feature a powerful camera setup, including a 50MP main camera and a 12MP secondary sensor. Additionally, it is expected to come with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for the outer screen, enhancing the user experience.
- The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6/Fold 6 FE is expected to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which was recently introduced.
- The Fold 6/Fold 6 FE could have slightly smaller screens.
Samsung is making a more affordable foldable phone called the Galaxy Z Fold 6/FE. It will come out in September or October, a few months after their top-of-the-line phones. Samsung hopes to sell between 200,000 and 3 million of these new phones. This could steal some attention away from the iPhone 16 series launch, which is also expected in September.
