This new app lets you watch Netflix smoothly on Vision Pro.
Apple Vision Pro Welcomes Netflix
Netflix said it wouldn’t make an app for Apple’s Vision Pro headset or even for iPads. Instead of relying on the web browser for a limited experience, a developer is creating a special version of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video just for Vision Pro users.
Supercut is made for Apple’s headset to let you watch both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video easily. It’s not like using Netflix in a web browser or the Amazon app for iPad, which can have some issues. Instead, it’s its own thing. You won’t have those annoying black bars on the screen, and it stays in front of you so you can watch your favorite shows and movies comfortably.
Even better, it has 4K quality and great sound with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. Plus, it has all the usual stuff like pause, subtitles, and changing your profile. These might not seem like a big deal, but since there’s no Netflix app, they’re actually really important to have.

According to The Verge, Supercut doesn’t have any new fancy environments like the ones already on VisionOS. They’re working on adding more in the next version, but for now, you can only watch Netflix and Prime Video in a basic floating window. It’s still better than nothing though.
You have to pay $5 to get Supercut. It’s a one-time payment, which means you only pay once. Supercut might be worth it if you’re not satisfied with how you watch Netflix or Prime Video on your Vision Pro headset. But remember, you still need to have active subscriptions to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video if you want to use them with Supercut.
We haven’t had the chance to use Supercut yet, but we really hope it pushes Netflix and Amazon to make an official Vision Pro app for their services.
