Dallas Stars Launch Future Stars with Ribbon-Cutting
The Dallas Stars have been saying for a long time that they want their team to be all about including everyone, especially with the things they do in the community. On Tuesday, they took another step towards making that happen.
They opened up a new gym at Cedar Springs Boys and Girls Club. Then, they had a fun event with the Stars team to cheer everyone up. Kids from the Boys and Girls Club got to play ball hockey with former Stars players.
The Dallas Stars have made some exciting changes to a ball hockey facility as part of their Future Stars program. They’ve added new equipment for playing ball hockey, a fancy new scoreboard, and spruced up the place with colorful paint and decorations. This program is all about bringing hockey to neighborhoods around the Metroplex by teaming up with Boys and Girls Clubs and schools in the area.
