Aaron Taylor-Johnson linked to James Bond
People are talking about who might play James Bond next. There’s a rumor that Aaron Taylor-Johnson, a British actor, has been asked to be the new James Bond.
The Sun newspaper says the actor known for Kick-Ass and Marvel movies has been officially asked to be the next James Bond, who was previously played by Daniel Craig.
Craig stopped acting in 2021 after being in five movies for 16 years.
The next James Bond movie will be the 26th one, coming after “No Time to Die.”
The weeklywakeup asked Taylor-Johnson about something. The company that makes James Bond movies, Eon Productions, refused to say anything about it. But someone who works on the production told weeklywakeup News that the rumors aren’t true.
People have been guessing about the role for a while now.
Taylor-Johnson recently told Numero magazine that he thinks it’s nice and great when people think of him as the next James Bond.
“I see it as a big compliment,” he said.
The 33-year-old actor who played John Lennon in the movie Nowhere Boy in 2009 is now the top choice for the role, according to bookmakers.
He was in a scary movie called Nocturnal Animals and got a special award called a Golden Globe in 2017. He was also in Anna Karenina, Godzilla, and Tenet.

‘Very, very exciting’
Henry Cavill, known for playing Superman and starring in Mission: Impossible, is a top choice to play James Bond. He was considered for the role before Daniel Craig was chosen.
In 2020, he told GQ magazine that he really wanted to be James Bond because he thought it would be super exciting.
One of the younger people being considered is Damson Idris, who is 32 years old.
He’s famous for his part in a TV crime show called Snowfall that aired for six seasons from 2017 to 2023. He also starred in a Netflix movie called Outside the Wire, which is about sci-fi action.
Bookies really like James Norton. He was in a play called “A Little Life” and also acted in the movie “Little Women” in 2019.
The 38-year-old actor has been in tough TV shows like McMafia and Happy Valley.
In 2018, he said to the Evening Standard that rumors about him becoming the next James Bond were not true. He mentioned that although people were talking about it, it was just speculation and he found it flattering but didn’t take it seriously.
Other actors like Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, and Chris Evans have also been talked about.
Elba, who is 51 years old, admitted that he might be “too old” to play James Bond. He said this because if he were to play the role for as long as Daniel Craig did, he would be 66 years old.
Producers don’t always pick the most famous actor for a role. For example, when Pierce Brosnan finished playing James Bond in 2002, Daniel Craig wasn’t the most well-known actor chosen to replace him.
Brosnan thinks Cillian Murphy, who’s also Irish and won an Oscar, would be a great James Bond, according to what he told the weeklywakeup.
Brosnan said that Regé-Jean Page from Bridgerton would be a great James Bond.
