Hundreds, maybe even thousands of people in North Olmsted, Ohio, wore green and held toy dinosaurs as they lined the streets on Saturday. They were there to show love and support for Julian Wood’s family. Julian was a 3-year-old who was stabbed to death in the parking lot of the Giant Eagle store in the city.

Lots of signs with “JuJu,” Julian’s nickname, were seen along the streets as his procession went to Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, where he was buried. There were dinosaurs, balloons, and lots of green decorations.
The family made a GoFundMe page to get help. They’re asking for people to join in a special tribute called a Memory Line. JuJu loved the color green and dinosaurs, so they’re asking everyone to line the streets from St. Charles Borromeo in Parma to Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted this Saturday.
The line of cars went on for miles. It went by a place on Brookpark Road near Birch Elementary School. Julian had just finished his first year of preschool there. Lots of people stood quietly. Some held green balloons. They watched as the cars drove by.

On Monday, Julian and his mom were attacked with a knife in the parking lot outside the North Olmsted Giant Eagle store. Sadly, Julian passed away from his injuries, while his mom was hurt but not severely. The police arrested Bionca Ellis at the scene, where they found the knife she used.Â
Ellis is now in the Cuyahoga County Jail for a serious crime called aggravated murder. The police say the crime happened randomly, meaning there wasn’t a specific reason behind it.
A video shows Ellis walking past the Wood family and her son in the Giant Eagle store. Then, she turns around and follows them to the parking lot. That’s where the stabbing happened shortly after.
As of Saturday afternoon, the GoFundMe page has collected over $230,000.
