Vivo V40 and V40 Pro Launching in IndiaÂ
Vivo has announced that it will launch its new V40 and V40 Pro smartphones in India on August 7.
Vivo has started teasing the upcoming launch of its V40 and V40 Pro smartphones in India. Both models will feature ZEISS optics. The Vivo V40 was officially announced in Europe last month, so we already know all its specifications.
Vivo has confirmed that the V40 Pro will feature a 50MP main camera using the Sony IMX921 sensor, an upgrade from the IMX920 in the V30 Pro. It will also feature a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP 2x telephoto portrait camera with the Sony IMX816 sensor, and a 50MP front camera with a 92° field of view.
The phone will have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and a super-durable build. It will be the slimmest smartphone to feature a 5500mAh battery.
The battery has 20% higher energy density, which means it delivers 1000mAh more power than other batteries of the same size.
The Vivo V40 Pro will be available in two colors in India: Ganga Grey and Titanium Grey. The regular V40 will also come in the two colors mentioned above along with a third color, Lotus Purple.
